Regenerative Organic Vineyard

For us, agriculture means adhering to the laws of nature, learning through observation, and applying modern technologies in a thoughtful and respectful way to benefit our surroundings.
Conventional agriculture has forgotten the vital connections between soil, microorganisms, and plants.
Many farmers focus solely on the plants and not the soil, forgetting that only a living and healthy organism can produce another equally alive and healthy organism.

VINEYARD INTERVENTIONS

We keep the rows between the vines constantly grassed, frequently
mowing the grass after spraying Effective Microorganisms (EM): a mix of lactic acid bacteria, yeasts, and photosynthetic bacteria with strong antioxidant properties. Over time, this has contributed to the overall health of our soil and plants.

This process ensures the composting of the mowed grass, returning essential nutrients and microbiological elements to the soil. Even the grape marc, a by-product of winemaking, is “returned” to the soil after being transformed into valuable Bokashi—a natural fertilizer rich in nutrients and microbiological life.

We avoid synthetic chemical products, using only copper- and sulfur-based treatments.

THE VINEYARD

Currently, the vineyard spans approximately 2.5 hectares with a density of 4,400 vines per hectare, utilizing the Guyot pruning system.

Located in Tarquinia, not far from the sea, the vineyard sits on fertile, medium-textured soil.

We cultivate our “historic” grape varieties: Sangiovese, Merlot, and Montepulciano, alongside newly planted white varieties: Trebbiano, Greco, and Malvasia Puntinata.
